This month, we successfully completed another technical challenge in the pharmaceutical industry: the coating of several components of industrial centrifuges. This four-month project encompassed all critical phases – initiation, planning, execution, and closure – and involved collaboration with some of our trusted partners.
The project consisted of recovering centrifuges previously coated by FLUPOL. After removing the existing coating, we performed a detailed assessment of the components’ condition, which revealed the need for metalworking repairs in some cases before proceeding with the new coating.
For this project, we applied one of our ETFE-based (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) coating systems, renowned for its excellent chemical resistance and compliance with the stringent FDA standards. This coating is ideal for demanding industrial environments, ensuring durability, protection, and compliance with rigorous food and pharmaceutical safety regulations.
